What Coach XI keeps

The details you enter about your team: name, season, category, club, and the badge if you add one.

Details about your players: first name, last name, number, position, status, and a parent or guardian’s contact details if you enter them.

Photos you add — a player’s, the team badge — stay on your device. They are never sent to our servers, never shared with other coaches, never included in an export. They disappear with the app.

What happens in matches and sessions: playing time, goals, cards, reported injuries, attendance, availability, and the ratings you write.

Your account, if you create one: your email address and your name.

What Coach XI does not do

No advertising, no tracking, no profiling. The app contains no analytics tool and sends nothing to an advertiser.

No selling or sharing with third parties for commercial purposes.

No location collection. The app shows the pitch coordinates published by your league, but never reads yours.

Where this data goes

Everything is saved to your device first, and the app works entirely that way. Without an account, nothing leaves the phone.

With an account, your data is copied to a Supabase server so it can be shared across your devices and with the coaches you invite. Only you and those coaches can reach it.

If you link your league schedule, the app queries RSEQ or Spordle to read the published fixtures and standings. Nothing you entered is sent to them.

Minors’ data

Coach XI is made for coaches, not players. Information about underage players is entered by you, as part of your role.

It is your responsibility to obtain consent from parents or guardians before entering a photo, contact details or health information — an injury, for example.

Enter only what you need in order to coach. A detailed medical note has no place in a pitch-side app.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. An archived season stays readable; it is not deleted.

You can delete a player, a team or a match at any time from the app.

You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent: the teams you own disappear with you, along with everything attached to them. Other coaches’ teams are untouched.

The “Erase this device’s data” button in Settings only affects the local copy.

Security

Your session is kept in the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore, not in an ordinary file.

Exchanges with the server go over an encrypted connection.

On the server, each team is isolated: a coach can only read the teams they belong to. That rule is enforced by the database itself, not by the app.

Your rights

You can view, correct and delete your data directly in the app.
